TERENCE BERRY
Terence is an eduneer committed to creating and spreading solutions for positive change in our country's education system. He has successfully pioneered a number of organisations in South Africa and abroad including the ASISA Academy of which he is the principal. TEDxCapeTownED is a meeting place for his passion for education, idea spreading and creative organisation.

JOHN BRADSHAW
John completed his business science at UCT, dropped out of his Chartered Accounting articles and found a back door into Oxford. He worked as a Strategy Consultant in London, New Delhi and Johannesburg, before finally coming to his senses and returning to his beloved Cape Town. His pursuit of interesting things has led him to be a part of the TEDxCapeTownED team.

ANGELA COETZEE
Angela is of the firm belief that storytelling has the ability to provide insight, reveal truth and build bridges. In her role at the Allan Gray Orbis Foundation she uses strategic storytelling and effective communication methods to enrol stakeholders in the Foundation's vision. Her areas of most interest are education, entrepreneurial development and youth empowerment.

SUSANNAH FARR
Susannah is the Founder and Leader of GOLD Peer Education Development Agency (GOLD). GOLD is playing a pivotal role in building social capital in communities, in supporting education in difficult circumstances, and in developing a generation of young emerging leaders with tangible skills and character to contribute to positive changes in their schools and communities.Susannah believes that through the inspired ideas of ordinary people TEDxCapeTownED will spark a revolution, towards bringing about a transformed education system.

MARIAN GRIFFIN
Marian has worked for educational textbook publisher Oxford University Press Southern Africa for 10 years in various capacities including her current position, as director of the business unit for Higher Education and Trade. She is inspired by those who contribute to education (by making textbooks or in any other way), by seeing education work, by connecting people, by seeing people realise their potential, and by people who live a full life.

NADEEMA JOGEE
Nadeema is the Literacy Manager for the Project for the Study of Alternative Education in South Africa (PRAESA)

NTOMBIZA LINGANI
Ntombiza is passionate about living a purposeful life. She is entrepreneurial, and constantly looks for ways in which she can add value to the lives of others through her work. Ntombiza currently works for TSiBA Education, a non profit business school with a mission of graduating entrepreneurial leaders who ignite opportunity and social change, guided by the philosophy of "Paying it Forward".

LOYISO MABECE
Loyiso is an MBA Candidate at the University of Stellenbosch Business School.

STEVE SCHLESINGER
Steve is the Chair of the Western Cape Governing Body Foundation, a Director and Trustee of various public benefit organisations and an elder at Jubilee Community Church.

JOHN THOLE
John is a founder and director of Edunova South Africa, and NGO whose core focus is on the application of technologies into learning and teaching.
BERNELLE VERSTER
Bernelle is a Bioprocess Engineer and convenor of TEDxCapeTown. She is known as a Water Maverick and all round disrupter who somehow always manages to shift the bigger system by pushing hard against existing structures. She believes an integrated approach to education, resource management and profitability is achievable.

JUSTIN BESWICK
Justin is a high impact entrepreneur based in the Silicon Cape . His primary passion is where technology and biomimicry intersect. He also aims to enable others by transferring his fortunate knowledge and experiences gained from incubators, business competitions and business-startup learning's to other aspiring entrepreneurs - with the larger goal of facilitating the development of entrepreneurship in his phenomenal home country, South Africa.

ECE YAGMAN
Ece is a Turkish/Canadian nomad who is passionate about education, multilingualism and economics. After completing a summer internship at UNICEF and a 6 month long internship at PRAESA (UCT), she was inspired by the potential of community-led initiatives and is currently doing her Masters at UCT in Behavioural Economics. Her research interests lie in the economics of language - particularly in trust, accents and social exchange in labour markets.

MICHELE BERRY
Michele has recently adopted a third son. His name is TED. When not looking after him she is a freelance CA(SA), school governor, community mediator and strategy consultant to NGOs.
JAMES HOWELL
James is a kaal-voet plaas seun from Vyeboom, Western Cape. He has an education in Finance and Marketing and hopes to qualify as a CFA Charterholder in the future. James is fascinated by innovation, new ideas and how they are integrated into successful business models. Above all, he has a passion for understanding what makes people tick and how their decisions impact the bottom line.James spends his time looking for the next thrill, and has dabbled in sky-diving, surfing and chasing rapids on the Fish and Orange River canoe marathons.
CHRIS HINRICHSEN
Chris is the General Manager at Edunova.

CHRISTOPH HAGSPIHL
Christoph grew up in Joburg and went on to study mathematics at UCT. He is currently completing his masters in mathematical finance. As a result of his passion for education and bridging the divide, he is also teaching full time at a township school called Mfuleni Secondary. His involvement with Mfuleni has opened the door to a number of further partnerships and led to his joining the TEDxCapeTownED team.
